Nina Lutz: Making Art with Creative Coding

Use computer programming to create beautiful art pieces. Creative Coding is an emerging
specialty that uses code as a medium to create still pieces or moving art forms. Taught by
Paseo Project artist Nina Lutz, this course introduces free software using java script to
create a variety of art pieces.

Paseo Youth STEAM Night:

On March 25, 2021 at 6pm the Paseo Project will be joined by artist Nina Lutz for their second virtual youth STEAM education program.  The event will be presented on Facebook Live from the Paseo Project’s Facebook page. A link and video will be placed here after the event.

Nina Lutz: Nina Lutz is a graduate of MIT Media Lab and computer scientist and designer. Visit her website to see her amazing work. Nina is excited to support students in learning how coding is used to make shapes and movement to create art that is unique and appealing

Karin Moulton, co-founder and former director of Taos Academy Charter School, joined the Paseo team in 2020 to help design a STEAM curriculum that meets the needs of these times. Karin has been an educator for 25 years in both public and private schools. She brings an understanding of the importance for students to have the 21st century leadership skills necessary to succeed in the modern world, as well as a personal interest in the arts and a history of educational leadership in Taos.
