NERVELESS

Sara Rivera

“Nerveless” (a title from D.H. Lawrence’s “Autumn in Taos)” is a site-specific poetry installation that seeks to unite Taos’s literary culture and history with a visual language of place. My process begins with journaling in place, using poetry to document the landscape, local culture, and artistic community of Taos. Found wood, metal, and other locally sourced or reused materials will be crafted into the text of the poem, and hung or mounted throughout the Taos Historic District.
