Fronteras Remix is an innovative restaging and public outdoor screening of a curated selection of films and sculptural works from the Fronteras Micro-Film Festival. Fronteras is a festival focused on short (30 seconds - 3 minutes) films and video art about borders, from both New Mexico based and international filmmakers. The films will be screened at an outdoor venue, selected in collaboration with the PASEO. By screening these films in a public outdoor space we invite the community to reflect on the realities and impacts of borders, and their function as thresholds.
