“Angel Feathers” | Interactive Fire Sculpture
This small portion of a larger sculpture still has a big effect! The two feathers contain interactive flame effects, ready for eager hands to push buttons. The Angel of the Apocalypse in full is a sculpture of reignition and rebirth- the two feathers bring a small taste of that wherever they go.
About the artist: The Flaming Lotus Girls is a San Francisco volunteer collective creating monumental works of interactive, mechanical fire art since 1999. We have created over 14 major works of sculpture and installed them at countless events around the world.
Our work focuses on sculpture that is engaging and interactive, and that is beautiful. We have experience installing temporary and long-term sculptures, always with interactive features, always encouraging an active experience with art.
