“Parseh dar shabhāye biābān” | Interactive Projection
The Persian word "پرسه) "parseh) primarily means wandering, strolling, or roaming without a specific destination. It often conveys the idea of walking aimlessly, either physically or metaphorically, such as in thought or reflection.
Parseh is an interactive visual experience that captures the feeling of beneath an infinite desert sky. Using real-time computationally generated visuals, the artwork invites the audience to engage with a dynamic field of stars, where celestial formations shift and evolve in response to movement.
As the audience interacts with the artwork, the stars subtly realign, mirroring the experience of wandering through the desert at night, where the sky becomes both a guide and an enigma. This interaction reflects the threshold between orientation and disorientation, solitude and discovery.
