If you could be any creature, what would you be? Would you live on the ground or up in a tree? What’s your story and what makes you tick? Can you create it with mosses and sticks?

On the nights of the Paseo 2023 Twirl invites the community to enter a magical forest in Kit Carson Park. Join us in making Nature Creatures using organic materials and your wildest imagination!

This installation is part of Twirl's community program during which hundreds of children and adults have explored and created their own Nature Creatures. It is Social Emotional and STEAM learning from the forest floor and beyond!

Making activities, 6 to 9pm nightly

Twirl is a non-profit organization with a a magical play and discovery space, serving the needs of kids and families in Taos, NM and beyond. Our mission is to support the growth and potential of children in Taos through inspirational, community-wide opportunities to gather, learn, create and play. Our vision is a community that recognizes, celebrates and cultivates its greatest asset, its children. Our outdoor play space, including 2 playgrounds and multiple magical exhibits, is free and open to the public. Our indoor play space is open for free play when not being used for classes and events.
