“Acequia Stories” | Interactive Projection

Students from local Taos highs chools will work with Digital Artist Morgan Barnard to create site specific projection mapping installations located at different points throughout The PASEO to create a location based documentary. Students will interview community members about the history and significance of the acequia system in the Taos area. Each node of the story will be displayed as small scale projection mapping installations in different locations chosen by the students. Visitors of The PASEO can discover the narrative as they explore the streets of downtown Taos. Students will have the opportunity to creatively explore the acequia through documentary, motion graphics and projection mapping.
