Artist in Residence Fellows

The Paseo Project AIR Fellows program brings artists from all over the world to Taos to work with our community on a public art project. The program is an opportunity for working artists to activate their projects within the community of Taos, while exposing our community to new technologies, processes, and ideas.

The AIR Fellows are selected through an open call for applications, where artists are invited to share their work, vision, and interest in engaging with the Taos community. Each year, a small number of artists are chosen for their creativity, thoughtfulness, and alignment with The Paseo Project’s mission.

We are not currently accepting applications—please check back for future opportunities.

We offer two distinct residency opportunities: the Paseo @ Hotel Willa Artist in Residence, open to creatives of all media seeking a focused, independent experience, and the Paseo Project AIR Fellowship, which includes a stipend and emphasizes community engagement through a site-specific project. Both programs celebrate the transformative power of art in the unique cultural and natural landscape of Taos. To learn more about the Hotel Willa Residency, click here
